VISWAMBHARAN, SHRI, P., B.A.. S.S.P, (Kerala—Trivandrum—1967):  s. of Shri Padmanabhan; b. at Kovalam,  Distt. Trivandrum, June 25, 1925; ed. at University College, Trivandrum; unmarried; Agriculturist, previously associated with the Indian National Congress, Socialist Party and the Praja Socialist Party; President of three cooperative societies and several Trade Unoins; Was the first General Secretary of the Travancore Cochin Working Journalists Association; was member of the Coir Board for six years; went to Burma in 1963 as one-man  delegation of the Coir Board; Member, Travancore  Cochin Legislative Assembly, 1954-56 and Kerala Legislative Assembly,  1960-64. 

Special interests:  Journalism. 

Travels abroad:  Burma.
