Shrimati Uma Mishra; January 21, 1953; 1 S. and 1 D.; Advocate, Orissa High Court; Was associated with a number of trade union organisations and was the Vice President of the Orissa branch of the I.N.T.U.C; Member, Senate, Syndicate and Academic Council of the Utkal University for the last several years; Chairman, Enquiry Committee appointed by the Utkal Pradesh Congress Committee to enquire into the anti-Congress activities of the Congressmen during the mid-term elections in Orissa; General Secretary, All Utkal Students Federation; General Secretary, All India Forward Bloc; Was imprisoned in 1939 in a student movement in 1940 for hoisting national flag on the Revenshaw College building and was debarred from appearing at the B.
