Only States of Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Gujarat and West Bengal are yet allowed for opting their regional languages.
Maharashtra state government had already announced that it would join the NEET UG 2013 Exam to be conducted by Medical Council of India for undergraduate medical and dental courses from 2013-14. The State Government has notified that MHT-CET (Maharashtra Health and Technology Common Entrance Test), which was the combined entrance exam for admissions to engineering, pharmacy and health sciences degree courses in the state, will be replaced by MT-CET from academic year 2013-14.
However, there is a plea by 2 students pending in the High Court of Bombay against applying NEET UG 2013 to the state of Maharashtra. The Court’s decision shall be final.NEET
