JEE Advanced Exam Pattern 2015

  1. In JEE (Advanced)-2015, there will be two papers, each of three hours duration.
  2. Each of the question papers will consist of three separate parts in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
  3. Both paper consist of 60 questions for 180 marks with different exam pattern.
  4. The questions will be of objective (multiple choice) type, designed to test comprehension, reasoning and analytical ability of candidates.
  5. The question papers will be printed separately in English and Hindi.
  6. Candidates have to specify their choice of question paper language at the time of online registration for JEE (Advanced)-2015.
  7.  In some sections, incorrect answers may be awarded with negative marks.

 

JEE Advanced Test is divided into 2 Parts:

a)      Paper – 1
b)      Paper – 2

Exam Pattern for Paper- 1:

Each subject(Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics) consist of 20 questions comprising two sections as follows

  1. Multiple choice Questions with one or more that one option correct type.
  2. Questions with single Digit integer value as correct answer.

Exam Pattern for Paper- 2:

Each subject(Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics) consist of 20 questions comprising three sections as follows

  1. Multiple choice Questions with one or more that one option correct type.
  2. Comprehension type : Each paragraph consist of two MCQ’s with single correct answer.
  3. Matching list type MCQ with single correct match as answer.
